working with alpha kappa psi and in collaboration with women in leadership at uci, i hosted a personal branding workshop to encourage 60+ students to elevate their career and opportunities through professional and personal development. throughout the presentation and workshop, students were able to find out their unique value proposition, how to leverage linkedin as more than just a jobs platform, their brand essence, and how to make a good first impression.

i wanted to share my findings and teach my peers from the professional business fraternity, alpha kappa psi, about the design thinking process. this led me to host this workshop for creative and human-centered problem solving for individuals with little to no experience with some of the internal strategic processes used by technology companies.
overall, this empowered our 40+ members to collaborate across disciplines and tackle the world’s biggest challenges.
at the intersection of the needs of people, the possibilities of technology, and the requirements for business success is innovation. to cultivate innovative thinking amongst our members, i encouraged the participants to think outside of the box in this competitive environment by assessing and presenting a case study on improving apple watch functionality.
